On the second RAC pic, is the slightly soft focus a camera effect from 3DMAx or added manually in photoshop?

Looks like a bloom effect in photoshop; however Mental Ray does have a bloom effect, but it nearly triples the render time (can at least).

@Crashgate3 it´s a 3ds-max effect but the render time with the effect sucks:banghead:

I gave the XRG an engine, It's the one from the NFSU2 AE86.

Made some progress on the Pac Man car, this thing is gonna take a little more time to get it to look better.

I think you should have the eyes and mouth as glass and model the interior.
