The Schancke T16 was joined by the Fraud Wheeler E2 RX (Ford RS200 E2 RX), the Lemon Ara Coupe T16 (Citroën Xsara T16 4x4) and the Saab 9-3 T16 4x4, we had the start of something amazing setup. we had 1 former Super 1600 French champion from 2011 sign up from the start in the form of Steven Bossard (Beniwiwi), our series organizer, mod creator and 2 times champion Tim De Cnodder (timdecnodder), Rotaryon E-Sports racer Sindre Silva (Bilcrossfoto). Later the grid was joined by the Vice-European Champion in the Supercars of 2021 Fabien Pailler (Busta) and his brother Jonathan Pailler (stann) who are still active in the sport. Joined with last years 4th in the standings the Fin Teemu Särkkinen we had a nice line-up to start this championship.

Round 1

For Round 1 we went to a new layout for the series, one wich uses half of the Aston Cadet track. From Heat 1 the Top 3 was set for the remainder of the heats, Sindre Silva posting 3 fastest times to go directly to the A-Final on pole position. 2nd spot was claimed by Frenchmen Steven Bossard while 3rd was claimed by our reigning champion Tim De Cnodder. Behind these 3 it was fighting for the 2 remaining A final spots, which where eventually claimed by Temmu Särkkinen on 4th place and last years vice-champion Rafael Costa. out B final slots where also in high demand (winner of the B-Final goes to the 6th place in the A-Final) on pole we find Roni Hopiavuori, in 2nd we have Daniel Lundquist, followed by Agostinho da Silva, Roni Kronpušs and Miguel Leandro. Finally for our C-Final we have Yassin Bidal on pole, Michal Malek in 2nd and as our final qualifier Jelle De Cnodder.

C-Final

Yassin took a good start, taking the lead in Turn 1, at first pass alongside the joker section, both Michal an Jelle went in for their joker. 2nd lap was a status quo at the front, with Yassin keeping his lead over Michal. On the 3rd lap Yassim made a small error at the backside hairpin, decided to joker giving temporary lead to Michal, but on the exit Yassin did a beautiful undercut to take the lead again. Things went bad for Yassim going for a faceplant at the exit of the final turn, cause of this was Yassin going wide into the corner and making contact with Michal on corner exit. Michal gave the place back. The last lap placed stayed the same and Yassin goes to the B-Final.

B-Final

Hopiavuori took a commanding lead in the first lap, with Silva messing up his final coming to the the jokerlap section, spinning his car around and losing valuable time to hopiavuori and losing many places in the process. We had a racing incident on lap 3 between Leandro and Yassin which flipped Leandro on his roof following the lag incident. Lundquist took care of the tires, slowly closing the gap to hopiavuori, making his move in the finals couple of corners getting the win and promotion to the A-Final, followed by Hopiavuori in P2, Yassin P3, Rony Kronpuss got P4 right infront of Team mate Silva who took P5. Leandro got classified as DNF for P6.

A-Final

Finally we got to the A-Final, With Sindre Silva on pole, joined alongside by Steven Bossard in P2, the second row we have defending champion Tim De Cnodder, Alongside Teemu Särkinen in P4. On the last row we have Rafael Costa in P5 and Daniel Lundquist as our B-Final victor in P6. Silva took the lead at the start followed by Bossard and Särkinen, with a small gap trailed by De Cnodder, Lundquist and Costa. De Cnodder decided on an early joker which turned out to be the right call following contact between Bossard and Silva that caused them both to spin at the hairpin and hold up the field making the time lost by the joker almost 0, then we start a race of recovery for both Steven Bossard and Sindre Silve. Tim de cnodder managed to get the lead by then end of Lap 1 and would defend it until the last Lap, where small damages and overheating tires gave Staven Bossard the advantage to get his Joker and the lead on his final lap towards the first step of the podium, Tim De Cnodder managed to get 2nd place just ahead of Teemu Särkinen. Lunquist managed to Finish P4 in this hectic final, followed by Silva in 5th and Costa in P6.
