about responsive web site design
Lfs has attracted a lot of players lately and this is really excellent. I and other players sometimes enter lfs.net from mobile devices. I personally have been entering lfs.net a lot lately, but there is a subject that bothers me. Why is lfs.net still not suitable for mobile devices? I think the Web developers of lfs.net should make some effort about site development.
I agree with this.

Some time ago I started writing custom CSS to make most things responsive but never finished it.

I think this website development situation may be one of the most important for LFS.

I think a community with such an active forum needs a mobile-responsive website. It's been almost a year since I opened this topic.
Hello, as far as I am aware the web development was handled by Victor (the VI in SCAVIER), who seemed to have taken a step back from LFS. Scawen has picked up the load and has been managing the backend since Vi's departure. In my opinion, I don't think Scawen should be spending any time or effort on this aspect of LFS - but he did recently mention that they were not looking at hiring new people at this stage. Hopefully they would have had some internal discussions about the website development/plans for future.

That said, I am sure any sort of positive discussion about the options they have at hand would be greatly beneficial to make informed decisions.

I see you are new, things go in decades around here Wink
The manual is normal mediawiki (same software as used by Wikipedia)
It seems there are some existing solutions to improve mobile usage:

I have no clue about web development but at quick glance it seems as if someone with the knowledge might be able to set it up.

The forum actually works okay for me on mobile.
Half the time I post using a Unihertz Atom phone with Chrome Browser.
It has a tiny 2,4" screen.
It requires some zooming and scrolling but I have seen worse.
There are some other forums that I only use on PC because they work even worse via phone.
