When you open the F12 menu in game when viewing your own car, there could be more info about the current track.

- track name & config
- weather
- wind strength



Maybe for open configs the config line could pe prepended with "Open configuration:" for clarity (the translation line is there):

While I would like this sort of thing to be accessed while driving - i just think it is the wrong place to put it, as the entire F12 menu is pit instructions.

What could be done though, is pressing arrow left/right to browse other pages. One of them being track data.

Wind strength maybe also in km/h - only time this info is actually shown is on start of a session or when entering server. Direction is visible from flags,but maybe would not bad also this info in some way (even if north/south in nowhere really defined).

Pit instructions are on the left side. The right side already shows the current setup, info about race/qualifying length, the driver name and car, so I thought why not use it for track info too.

Good point! It would use the units set in your driver settings.
