I saw this video showcasing someone's "Midget Race Car" build.
The premise is simple: The cars are built on custom chassis', ideally smaller than a road car, yet still using a road car's combustion engine.

In the video, the donor car for the engine and drivetrain is a small FF hatchback, similar to the UF1.
I try to create a vehicle mod using the UF1 engine, and loosely following the build in the video along with the Midget Car building regulations (link bellow).

Hopefully this will be fairly easy to create as my very first mod, while being an interesting vehicle to drive in-game. I will keep you updated on my process!

Therefore it's fully drivable now! Really happy with how it handles.

As for modelling: For now I only did what's visible in the attached pic, just to see how I would go about doing the frame.

I mostly finished modelling the frame, I also adjusted the suspension geometry a lot to match it up to the model.

It's coming together! I just need to add the body panels and details (suspension mounts, interior, engine).

Will this have lots of suspension travel? Looks like fun on rallycross tracks.

For sure! It's super fun off-road. Rallycross setup will be included once it goes public.
