How do I conserve my tires during a race.
conserving my tires while using a normal car is fairly straightforward.

But I have no idea on how to conserve them while driving like a gt car or a formula etc... fast cars.
So as a mouse user, how do I NOT make my tires wear out pretty easily.

PLS
Try the following:

- Higher 'R' value tyres
- Adjusting camber for a larger contact patch (seems counterintuitive, but it works).
- Try a lower button control rate (Settings>Controls)
- Try and steer smoother, analogue steer smooth (Settings>A.S.S) helps filter out the jerky nature of mouse steering and its reflexes.

I try to make smoother driving with the mouse.

the other stuff you mentioned are new to me and will look for it.
But I think the biggest imposter are brakes. Like after a hard braking or small braking I find that my tires die faster.

perhaps you have a solution?
Try modulating brake pressure so that the wheels don't lock up all the time when braking, or, if this is too difficult, reduce the brake pressure in the car setup menu. Furthermore, if ABS (Antilock Braking System) is available in the car setup menu, enable it, that tends to help a lot with tyre temperature during and after braking.
Thanks for the useful info!!
Avoid lockups, sliding the tyres while braking and turning together, sliding in general, driving smooth is the key to keep the tyres in check.

It's pretty common in longer races for tyres to slightly overheat and cool back down when the tread gets thinner, letting you push them harder in turn, it tends to be faster than using harder tyre compounds. You need to adjust your driving to manage them somewhat.

I drive wheel, so not much specific advice i can give here, but depending on the car, you could try adjusting your button control rate or assign throttle/brake to the vertical mouse axis. I know of some mouse players that do that to drive more powerful LFS cars like GTRs or BF1.

TL;DR try not to lock or slide tyres

setup also plays an important role, but there's too many variables to go too much indepth and i'm not really all that knowledgable in making setups either.
