This week it was time for return of one of the LFS's own Catherhams - the less powered LX4 was on the menu for racers, which is usually a decent challenge on racing circuits. However once again things were spiced up with track selection - we run a track that has a lot of similarities with Tunnels configuration, alternativelly also called Scawen's track, however under name "Central Road Course 3" it runs in different direction and uses other way round the International circuit's garages, adding additional challenges on the way. With 32 drivers this was a repeated attendance count from previous LX4 race and well above this season's average attendance, repeating 2nd highest attendance number of the season.
Just like the season, also this race went under A.Valta's name - he was the one to beat and despite tries of the competition,he still regained fastest time in qualifying to score his 11th pole position in RTFR. Only cars he saw ahead during the race were backmarkers waiting to be lapped - the finn truly led every single meter of the 64 kilometer race to score his 10th RTFR race win, becoming the 9th driver with double figure wins count. Additionally he set a convincing fastest lap of the race to score his 11th and added 29th top5 finish to his stats - all this leads him to be unreachable in season standings, clinching the 1st place in those with 1 race still left. Gábor this time had to settle for 2nd place in both sessions, also pretty much unchallenged from behind - 70th top5 finish for the all time success ranking leader. Man with all time most top5 finishes R.Kardol added another one from this race - he had to work a bit to regain the 3rd position in the results, adding 97th top5 finish in the list. Unite finished 4th to score his 90th top5 finish and to make top5 results same in both sessions,Nosle regained his earlier lost 5th position and scored his 4th top5 finish.

Next week we'll do some "extra work time" - it's time for the last RTFR XL race of the year. The 96th RTFR XL will take place on the Caribbean island of Jamaica and in it's circuit known as Fern Bay. The selected car for this race is very similar to LFS's TBO class performance - SLX180 TYPEX and it will be run in customized version of Fern Bay Green configuration, which uses the extra looping in 1st sector and alternate last turn. Full information about the race will be posted tomorrow! In 2 weeks also normal RTFR will have it's season finale - even if without intrigue about top position in standings, still the race should be interesting - some info about the combo as always was mentioned in broadcast of the latest race.
