All Rounder Championship 2025 Round 1 recap

The results posted above are confirmed as official

The second season of All Rounder Championship begun with 24 laps of Rockingham National with the light and agile LX4. A total of 25 drivers set a laptime during qualifying and 21 drivers took the start.

Pole position was claimed by Lorenzo on his final flying lap after the timer had already reached zero.
He took the pole away form Suforr, who ended up in second. MadJester, the driver who got to select our current track environment, was third. The second row was completed by Nosle. Our defending champion Thehemuli was fifth after beating Mouseman by just 0,01 seconds.

At the start of the race there was some confusion, as due to a technical error the race started almost two minutes too early. This resulted in some drivers missing the start. To minimize the effect of this to the championship standings, we will exclude the worst result of the season from each driver in the final standings. More info on this will be posted in the info and rules thread.

The start itself was an eventful one. Lorenzo held his first place, while MadJester challenged Suforr for second and managed to make the pass before the end of the first lap. After taking second, he started to chase down Lorenzo for the lead. He made a few unsuccessful overtake attempts in the first half of the race before being overtaken by Nosle on lap 12. Lorenzo successfully fended off all further attempts on his position and took his first ARC victory after a difficult last season, truly deserved win for him. Nosle clocked the fastest lap of the race on the final lap, finishing just over half a second behind his teammate. MadJester completed the podium only 1,5 seconds behind the winner. Suforr was able to hold on to fourth as Thehemuli was unable to properly challenge him. Fifth place for the Finn in the end.

Next round will feature some dirt tyre action and will be our first ever heat race + finals style event. Full information for round 2 will be posted at least a week before the event on the forum.
