Ultrawide - view offset, using half my monitor on menus?
Hi,

I've recently installed LFS on my PC, but I am having display issues.

In the menus, the menu is only using the right half of my monitor.

Once in game, the whole monitor is used, but it's offset to the right, as if the centre of the screen is actually the right-most bezel.

I'm using a 32:9 ultrawide monitor, Aorus (Gigabyte), 5120x1440 resolution, and it does this in both fullscreen and borderless. Reducing resolution resets it, but I want to use the whole screen!

Hi, LFS has taken a guess that you have a two screen setup.

You can correct this, in the Options - View screen.

There is an option "Multiple screen layout" where you will see it is set to 1 left screen.
You can set that to zero and then it will work as a single wide screen.
In Options - View - look for Multiple screen layout. There you probably have 1 left screen set. Click that 1 and change it to 0.

Edit: Damn, Scawen beat me Big grin
Scawen, would it be possible for LFS to somehow detect if it's really multiple monitors or just a single ultrawide monitor to avoid these cases?
Yes I think that should be possible, the two screen assumption could be avoided if the primary monitor rectangle matches the desktop rectangle. I've made a note about it.
