sounds good, although to be fair it should be hidden as it would just confuse the "average" user who would never use it

yes do you mean if you update a .set file to say the fxo , how do you refresh without having to restart LFS.exe????

Na! it doesn't work you must restart LFS.exe to get it to re-read the set directory...

Personally I do it by changing between different cars, but that obviously doesn't work when you're on a server with only one car allowed.

But you can enter to the car selection menu and come back?

No, you have to go to car selection, select a different car, then go to car selection again, select the original car, THEN the setups get reloaded.

How to?

I think he means when you download a set from the internet like at Inferno. You leave and reenter the garage (not pits) after downloading or as AndroidXP says, change cars and change back (if not single car server).

Only problem with that is you then can flood the ingame chat with system messages "[RCG]Boosted has entered the pits.... [RCG]Boosted has left the pits.... [RCG]Boosted has entered the pits...." It could be annoying to those others who haven't had the frame of mind to delete the system message and chat message sounds.

It could be added to an already existing non-pressable title button, like (off the top of my head) the setup name list's title "button".

I can simply click a set from Inferno, choose open with 'set_auto_file' (lfs.exe) and it appears straight away in the garage.

Actually, no. It shows up in the garage even if you were in the garage when you downloaded the setup? If so, this suggestion is redundant. I'll try it out.

Edit: You were right I guess a refresh-button isn't really necessary :P
