mx1000 laser mouse problem
I have the logitech mx1000 laser mouse and ever since I downloaded lfs its been acting up. 9 out of 10 times i start the game the cursor will lock up, i can still click things but the cursor doesnt move. it normally happens within 5 mins of starting the game and ill have to restart my computer a few times before it works normally. has anyone else had this problem or might know how to fix it? would it just be compatibility problems? its never happened with any other games...
Are you playing in Windowed mode???? Or if you are in Fullscreen mode, do you just lose steering completely?
no im in full screen and i play with a wheel but i can still steer with a mouse. its just when i go to the menu i cant see where im clicking. its not just in the game, even when i minimize lfs i cant see the cursor moving on the desktop.
Hmmm might you have some of Logitech's mouse software installed? I think there is some program that has that quick change menu or something? Maybe that is conflicting?

I really don't know for sure, because a number of things could cause this, and not just LFS.

If you are driving in LFS with Mouse and using the buttons to accel/brake, then maybe try starting up LFS and only using the keyboard to control for a bit. And every now and then, see if you can use the mouse to control the menus and only navigation movements. The same goes for alt-tabbing and stuff.
oh yea i forgot theres always a little program running in the background so ill try closing that. i dont normally use a mouse btw i gotta wheel but yea i try the game a few times and see if it does it again.

thanks for the fast replys
