If you could mark out to points on a track, a + b. Then you lap the course and now you should be able to take control of the car, after it passed point a. When it passes point b - game pauses, untill a button is pressed.

Then one could train certain corners over and over and fast ! No need to go all the way round to try again, and if you press the car and crash, then you will have another go by a press on a button.

Make an AutoX-Layout?

No !

You have to train in the rigth environment. Auto x will not do

I can't see any system where you take one corner again and again ever working, you have to be concentrated to be able to learn the best line so doing laps of the circuit even if you're only focusing on one corner is much more sensible.

You could try it by pressing shift + U and putting the start position to where you want it then you'd go there everytime you reset.

Which is what I said... I'm not sure he ever tried to look into layouts...

Can you do that ?
Not start from the point the game chooses. Could you write down the procedure ?

And for the book - There is a loooooooong way in uf1000, on the long Aston tracks - And sometimes its just one corner that needs practising

You click shift+u, then set place objects to yes and (if you want) "hide keys" to no... Set a start line before the section you want to train (make it so you can gain enough speed before that) and a finish line after that... And off you go!

Thx !
