My thanks to Scawen for creating this section.

I see this section being used by LfS server admins to share information with each other on the technicalities, joys and perils of running servers for the LfS community in all it's guises.

so if the master server down they will post here?

They could do but they wont, they will let someone make a general thread about it, in the general section, then the moderators will have something to move.... oh.. wait no..

Could this also be used for advertising your server?

i want a server. does any one want to give me a server. id be really gratefull. preferably a one that has 20 slots and with ventrillo included.

Maybe someone could make a sticky with links to various sites that offer LFS servers and stuff?

I think the intention is for this forum to be a point of reference for such things as configuring a server, running apps on a server, troubleshooting server malfunctions etc.

IS there an Admin command list? for seleting cars, tracks, laps etc?
i searched but perhaps the wrong words?

while logged into the server as an admin type /help in the chat dialog. It will bring up all the commands

Here are some commands and some more attached:

Penalties:
-----------------------
/p_dt USERNAME - give drive through penalty
/p_sg USERNAME - give stop-go penalty
/p_30 USERNAME - give 30 second time penalty
/p_45 USERNAME - give 45 second time penalty

Race Control Messages : (big SPAM text in centre of screen )
-----------------------
/rcm MESSAGE ... set a Race Control Message to be sent
/rcm_ply USERNAME ... send the RCM to USERNAME
/rcm_all ... send the RCM to all
/rcc_ply USERNAME ... Clear USERNAME's RCM
/rcc_all ... Clear all RCMs
