Quote from Modoff :yea we know keiran americans suck if they win anything its all by luck

How'd you come to that conclusion illepall

IMO = In my opinion

Hayden has only won 2 GPs this year, and okay he has finished the races putting him in this position but for me Rossi has had a hell of a job to pull the championship back in his favour. Same with Melandri and Caporossi, I think they'd have been in with a better chance of the title without that pile up at Barcelona.

I think I'm allowed to have an opinion on who I think is more deserving of the title, it's not like I'm trying to change anyones mind or `slag off` Americans.

Keiran

I don't think you are but I'll have to check the forums rules and regs to be 100% about that!?
Quote from Tweaker :Hayden is a good rider where Rossi hasn't been. Easy to see since Rossi and the other faster riders don't always have pure domination and win every circuit. I personally don't think Hayden has just "picked up the pieces", he has earned his wins from very good rides. With motorcycles it is different than racing cars in my opinion. Your skill and riding throughout the entire race is what wins you the race. It is hardly anything else in my opinion.

As Keiran says, Hayden's only won two, and Edwards really handed him the Assen win. He has rarely looked like one of the best of the best, 'cept for at Laguna. BUT....the championship is the biggest and most important race of all, and he was deservedly winning that one thanks to his skill and riding, and probably would have taken a fair lead to Valencia even if Rossi beat him yesterday, if he hadn't been taken down.

Totally Dani's fault btw, way too fast in there. Wonder if the 800s will give his miniature proportions a bit of a helping hand.
Watch out for the last GP at Valencia: If Hayden wins and Pedrosa gets 2nd, Nicky will get the championship...woot!!

I'll watch it from the grandstands
in fact that is the most probable scenario for Hayden's championship, (as Hayden 2nd and Rossi 8th or 8 positions difference is quite unexpected) noone would say then it was not deserved

yeap, it was Pedrosa's fault all the way, coming from such distance just to proove his point after Hayden's bit wide but succesful overtaking attempt.

not going to justify that but notice Nakano swept out and Stoner mowing Gibernau at the same place - new tarmac, maybe some bump or grip inconsistency.
Yeh Nakano did the same in the last race, which is why he got injured more badly after that one.

I just can't wait for the 800cc bikes, I predict Rossi will do much better on the 800s. We all know rossi was the god of the 500cc bikes, its his ablility to ride on the limit for an entire race.
Quote :We all know rossi was the god of the 500cc bikes

Why not say "he is the god of bike racing". I mean, he's the only world champion on MotoGP bikes and he also won the last of the 500cc championships.
Quote from BurnOut69 :Repsol doesnt mean teamwork

That's sort of part of the joke.

Unfortunately I missed the race and I'm currently looking for somewhere to download it.
Doh guess my stack is a bit overflowed after work.

As for the race, check your PMs
Gonna have to say it was Pedrosa's fault this time.

I was torn coming into this race. I'm a huge Rossi fan, ride a Yamaha, and was hoping to see an american win something for once, even though I dont much like Hayden. Gotta give him credit,he's been very consistent in finishing well.

As long as Sete isn't winning anything I"m happy.
