As said lot of times, seems that V patch will have an hardcore mode.
The problem is that atm is not much realistic to have all the infos about laptimes, positions, lap done, tyre temps etc on the screen hud.

Those infos are usefull, and realistic too, but should be visualized in the incar LCD (like the Fox one), in a similar way to the one used on GTR (1 and 2) incar motec display.

It would be so small in the cockpit, how would you see anything?

The way it looks in GTR/ISI games, I really dislike that. And to be honest, it isn't realistic to have in the cockpit at least (tire and damage). In order for this suggestion to truly work, you would need to have a big LCD display that takes up a lot of space on the wheel and/or dash. Would really ruin the genuine look of the cockpit in my opinion. Especially for cars that don't have a large display... you'd need to add one.

HUD is fine with me, so I can't see why having it in the cockpit would be any better... as it will only look worse.

I know it will be harder to read infos, but real pilots does not have "helmet huds" xD , so if devs want to had realism, imho that modify is needed.

Obviously there will be some key for cycling between hud screens on cars like f08, fox or bf1 (or gtrs too).

Instead, street cars does not need modifications, because these doesn't have these sort of infos.

Well the hardcore mode was intended to NOT show anything as informative as the HUD displays. Having the tire heat/wear & damage viewable in hardcore mode wasn't part of the hardcore mode concept as far as I know.

Hardcore mode would disallow the HUD display, allow whatever is realistic to be view on the wheel and/or dash, and then all else would really just be very limited.

Ok, but split times need a place where to be visualized, and on real race cars this place is the hud

And however engine and brake temps can be seen in race cars onto the hud too.

I know atm lfs doesn't simulate brake and engine overheating, but when it will be, this will be usefull.
