It would be a great help if DFP users could use the d-pad on it for live settings and pit instructions. This would make it a lot easier

Also, it should be an option to set a button to add more or less of each live setting.

EDIT: Up, down, left and right buttons might also be another idea

AFAIK you can use the logitech profiler to assign these keystrokes.

You can use the key press mapper in the controls tab directly in LFS. I have my dpad set to allow cursor keys and the 4 buttons on the bottom spoke of the wheel to F9-12

Where you would normally assign messages to say you assign the following type values instead. Then link them up to button presses

/press Up
/press Down
/Press Left
/Press Right
/Press F11

etc

Although I would still prefer to manipulate the values direct with up/down settings without the need to display the live menu.
