Jesus Sin, did you AutoGlym that thing, oh the shine, it hurts it hurts

Nice wheels though Sinbad. Give us a another photo in a couple of weeks ( and no washing in between )
Quote from sinbad :Bit scary, realising just how little riding experience I actually have, and I don't have any real idea of the grip levels yet. I'm being EXTRA cautious (riding like a total noob)
As long as I keep it shiny side up, I'm happy.

Yup, best thing to do is be cautious, no point chucking it down the road just yet .

Although, you would be extremely suprised at how much grip you can actually get on two wheels, I would certainly recommend a trackday as it boosts your confidence levels enormously.

We'll have to arrange a rideout when the weather gets better, that or an "LFS Trackday"

Heheh yeah that was it just after it was delivered, if I keep it looking like that I'll be amazed

@Dan, I'd like that, sometime like spring next year maybe. The more I ride it, the more the idea of a trackday appeals to me. Did you get special insurance cover for your snetterton day btw?
No, thats probably the only bad point of a trackday, no insurance, but you would have to be riding like a tool to lose it on a track, TBH.

Dan,
I thought you retained you insurance on track days as long as it was not a competition? Or is that just with some companies in the US? I seem to recall a guy with a WRX stuffing it at limerock and saying the insurance covered it as it was not a competative event....

Most (all?) UK insurance polices expressly state that track days aren't covered, regardless of it being competitive or not.

Mind you, there is nothing to stop you claiming a few days after the event and saying it happened on the road

Dan,
Bloody hell, a ZX12R huh?, thats a serious machine, even if it is a kwacker

What are you thinking of getting next?.
