I don't see a thread for this, so...

Anybody know of sources for free texture maps. I'm specifically looking for high res textures with bump or displacement maps.

I see many out there, but all for pay. I may pony up for a couple, but I thought I would ask first.

There's a fair few dotted about on the net, but can take a while to search.. but try here for some to start with maybe

I personally use a lot of the Total Textures textures. The collection isn't free but split over 15 CDs (original set anyway) so you could pick and choose what you're likely to use for the majority of the time but for my track building antics, they were well worth the cash to me.. YMMV of course
