I would have posted this sooner but I thought the immediate community that i go to (Battlefield FHT) should hear first. Last week on Wednesday 22nd November, my dearest friend who I would have called nan though she wasn't my blood relative died through natural causes after suffering a fall. The funeral is in a weeks time and I have not been in a very acknowledgable mood all week. Not really sure what to say as I don't feel like doing much or saying much, other than saying that she leaves behind 3 sons, a very loving husband of 32 years, and 2 granddaughters. Real shame this happened 1 month before Christmas...

Sorry to hear this. I used to have an "adopted gran" and was absolutely gutted when she passed away. Many years ago now.

Sorry to hear, I too had similar sad event this fall. My common-law mother, or what ever the correct term is, passed away after a serious attack 2 months ago
