Sadly, I haven't converted anyone to LFS. I have in the past for a brief moment. I got Brad and Chuck to download the demo. Chuck ran a few nights, then returned his wheel. Now Brad, he raced with me for quite some time on the demo servers. The new patch came out and I had to go back to licensed servers. Saw him a few weeks later at work and I asked him if he still raced. "No!" he says. "I'm too fast and everyone is afraid of me now. They all quit. I logged on the server the other night and there was no one there! They're all afraid now." LOL. I had to explain to him that it wasn't his screamin fast 1:37's in the GTi at BL1 that scared everyone away, but it was the new patch that everyone moved to. LOL
Then we have Mark and Nick. I can't get them away from WoW enough to even bother downloading the demo. Steve kept telling me every weekend for about 6 months that he was going to download it, but never did. My wife's little brother, supposedly he has been playing around with the demo offline lately, after months of telling him to scrap GT3/4 and get LFS. They stopped by and I finally had to take him downstairs and strap him in front of my wheel. My other brother-in-law, I guess I can't really say I converted him. We work together and I found LFS S1 browsing Blackhole Motorsports. I showed it to him on lunch and we browsed around checking it out. It looked good. I downloaded and tried it. Told him the next day to try it out and he did. We both love it, but he has connection problems. Same dialup as I have and I have absolutely no problems. He's back to running Nascar offline and now plays GT4 on his kid's playstation. But I know he wants to be able to run LFS.
So, I have 1 possible and 1 converted, but we actually started at the same time, so I voted "0" for the poll.
