I have a DFP and its waranty is out by a month. My brake pedal is broken and doesnt work. So I would like to be able to use one of the buttons on the wheel to brake. Ive set the X button to breaks but it doesnt want to work that way so im stuck that way.

A former team-mate of mine had a left leg problem, which meant that some brake techniques were painful (this being before the days of the G25 - and no-one ever right foot brakes on sequentials, do they).

I dont understand this.

It's already possible. Maybe you need to try the new test patch, but I can assign anything to any button on my wheel.

I have U32 and I have my X button assigned to brakes but it doesnt work for me. Ive tried going around the track but as soon as I get to a corner and press the X button on my wheel nothing happens.

Ahh yeh, you're right. You need to select buttons for accelerator and brake for it to work.
