V uses two characters less to display the patch version, therefore saving your RAM

Improved sounds and probably a few more bug fixes. Plus V is the official patch compared to a test patch.

There also was a U36 previous to patch V release. Again, some minor stuff between U35 and U36. If you are upgrading from U35 to V, then obviously you've seen the test patch section. Go there and read on your own rather than hoping someone else has read the information already available to you.
