i go to the S1 multiplayer, and the only room is "new to bronze" What is this room for? I've been racing in it for ages, but never seem to get anything new, except one skin.

It's part of the STCC league servers, they run one server in S1 mode (which I must applaude). Almost every other server only runs in Demo or S2 mode though, so if that's wetted your appetite and want to race elsewhere, stump up another £12 and upgrade to S2.

Do you get a license progress bar at the end of every race?

I'm often on that server lately btw, some good fun to be had. Quite a few idiots about as most of the good racers have reached silver license already.

As Bob says, we're running one S1 licence server, but to progress beyond your Bronze licence you will have to get S2. It's another £12 (you're already half-way there, having bought S1).. but you get a LOT MORE for your money.. new tracks, new cars.. it's well worth it

Just to add that with that skin you mean the downloaded skin file in skins_x folder? Those skins are actually skins of other people and you should not use them. LFS S1 got recently updated with new features and one of these features is automatic skin downloading. You can use your own skins and others will see the skin as well as you see others' skins. You don't have any bars yet because the licence progress in the game shows each 10% as one bar. You're not quite there yet

it downloaded automatically - something Scawen added for those people stuck with S1

523 servers?! I never see more than about 70ish... Was that an exceptional day or am I missing something... Or maybe its because I filter out the private ones.... Hmmm...

It's an unfiltered list.. currently 523 servers, or at the time I took the screenshot anyway (about 10:45am). I just did the same for S1 servers.. 6 servers.

Not all the servers are populated.. not even remotely.. but they're there and only a few of them are private, so the vast majority can be joined. It was really to underline the differences between S1 and S2. Any empty server you join has the potential to fill up.. as soon as you're in and racing.
