Engine turn off
Just a small and quite meaningless thing, but
The Engine as pressed " I " turns off really slowly / unrealisticly

Really a pointless thing but STILL =_0

P.S. Same thing goes imho , when revving the engine. It returns back to iddle a little bit slowly,
or then it's just me ( of course depends on many things i guess ... the engine characteristics
compression etc etc )
The engine still revs because you don't clutch and you are still in gear...

It seems realistic to me.

And you aren't turning the engine completely off when you press "I"... You are just cutting the ignition.
i want it so if someone runs out of fuel they can use the started motor to get to the pits but if so we should also have a battery gauge, what u think
Blakjekaas ... i'm a bit slow i guess, (lol) but i managed to think,

I meant when standing still. While on the move and pressing " I " =Ignition
it acts like it should(?) but imo a real car don't behave like it does in LFS ...
the engine turns off like a Wartburg in slow motion ( same goes returning back to iddle while off gear ... and while in neutral the clutch doesn't affect it

"And you aren't turning the engine completely off when you press "I"... You are just cutting the ignition " Well how DO you turn the engine completely OFF in real car then ??? =_0

@James : Lol good point about the battery gauge, since u can now "drive" endlessly with starter motor

Well, it is LFS S2 ALPHA. Who cares about turning the engine off anyway? You dont need to do that while racing.
thats why i said about the starter motor and also we coukd have alternator failings because you could still race but only for a while

Can you drive on the startengine when your out of gas? Did not know that.

If you modelled alternators (and lack of in the FOX) I have a feeling you'd end up with plenty of complaints that you can't go for more than 30 minutes in the FOX.
then dont have in on in the fox

You used to be able to... But with the latest patches, I think it has changed so you can't anymore (at least not with the more powerful cars)...
Geez, guys. In due time.

That said, would you prefer perfect physics and an incomplete damage system or incomplete physics and a ton of little gimmicks? Because that's what your asking for.
I think is comes in S3 for sure
I meant perfect tire and overall vehicle physics. The damage system is separate as I see it.
