I'm new in this forum, so first of all I'd like to say hi to everyone.
My problem, as shown in the header, is a serious (and misterious, I'd say) lag problem when connecting to ANY server. My internet connection is a 2 Mb (download)/ 320 kbps (upload), cable connection. Technically I shouldn't have problems with this internet connection, but the fact is that I have a lag that actually prevents me from playing on-line. I pinged the server and obtained a 51 ms response time, which I think shouldn't cause any lag, but it's still there. Then I tried deactivating the QoS option in Local Area Network in the windows control panel (told by a friend to do so) and it still didn't work.
I've got no clue about how to sort this out. Heeeeeelp!!!.

By the way, the computer's features:
- AMD 64 3200+ processor
- Asus A8N SLI motherboard
- 2 Gb DDR 400 Kingston Dual Channel RAM
- nVidia 6600 GT graphics card

And I have a router. I even tried removing the router, just in case the problem was there, but... It looks like the problem wasn't the router.
