Right, a few minutes ago I discovered that LFSW lets you add a custom background, so I did. I clicked off the website soon after to do other things, and once I went back on, my background was gone and I had the LFSW logo again. Any help on the situation?

I have only tried this on an AOL Webbrowser.

EDIT: Okay, it seems to work with IE7 (or whatever the newest one is), so I guess its an issue just for AOL.

And my background works fine on LFSW in Portable Firefox 2.0.0.1

if I may be frank, I've nothing but bad experiences with AOL (well i do not have it myself, but what I see from AOL is .. well ... not good. Sorry.). Best to avoid it.
More to the point, the AOL browser probably has some caching issues.

Does anyone know what render engine the AOL Browser uses? I hope not an own one...

It sounded like bloody irony to me, I think he is either an experienced webcoder, or has never looked into that and used the browser like an Office Program.
If the latter is the case, I can remove the signature of course, because then its not funny, but scaring.

just do a proper valid html website with some css and you'll know why

If you want to make a clean, valid xhtml page with a not-so-easy layout and some nice style effects, you must be deeply into webcoding, otherwise its not possible. When I code something, I have 2 or 3 computers, with like 10 browsers running, to test everything. Its just annoying crap work if you ask me.

Markz, has your sister coded these sites, or are they done by professionals from all over the world? Can you provide some links, so we can validate the pages?
