New Dash Control Products From Beta Innovations!
Hi guys, HERE'S a video of the new products from Beta Innovations in action. The RXC addon card allows you to connect up to 4 AC305A Air Core drivers and the new SD9 shift display to your Plasma-Lite v2. You can also connect a 20x4 HD44780 Character display directly to the RXC, which has on board contrast and brightness adjustment. The AC305A Air Core drivers connect to the RXC to control the gauge cluster. The cluster in the video is of limited range but this is merely temporary, the Beta Innovations products are able to calbrate to any car dash cluster range. Also, my Water Temperature needle is set as a Boost Pressure Gauge, just in case anyone is wondering whats going on with that

The new RSIM v2 software controls these new products and is atm compatible with LFS, rFactor, GTR, GTR2 & GT Legends.
WHUT THE!!!! THAT is wicked!!!!

Today I was just talking about a possible addon for LFS that controls the indictators and ignition (key).... hehe would be cool.

But wow, that looks really nice
It might be a good idea when they FINISH it and get it working PROPERLY!!
Any body else notice the turbo pressure guage marked as temperature??
Another thing, would be no good for GTR cars..speedo only goes up to 140...in fact, even a XRT could beat that!

Especially for an f1 car! =)
He knows the temp guage was used for the turbo pressure guage... he just used it for demonstration. (read on youtube)

The speed limit thing though definitely would be an issue with all the cars, of course . The guage should go upto 160-180mph at least.... so you could at least use the GTR cars with it, and the fastest road car is the FZ5 (150+). Would be silly with the BF1 though, but I'd like to see how fast the needle moves in that car

This looks nice! But i just calculated the price, and come up with about 305€ (including 4 Aircores). For me its too expensive for what if offers. Since i build something simmilar for about 60€ including the gauge. Look here

Should be no problem, i'm gonna try it later.

Just to ellaborate on that idea... I was talking about actual steering column switches and levers that do this... like the real thing So to have a lever for the indicator, and an actual ignition box with a key of some sort.... Maybe a bit over-the-top, but still, it would be a great addition to trying to make a 'complete' working cockpit

I think this is actually fairly easy to do with the gauges being the actual hard part. In the end it is all about building a cockpit to hold all that stuff

I just wonder what the people at ECCI or BRD would say when you added a small wish of complete driving controls with indicator levers and ignition keys to the order
Yes, as i said before (and before that), its just a temporary dash to test with from a ford fiesta, i have a bently one on the way which will hopefully have a better range. But anyways, gauges with the BF1?? why would you use them for that car, surely you would just use the 20x4 LCD and LED shift lights?

It doesn't have to be 305€, BI will provide all the schematics so that you can build your own for cost, all you need is a Plasma-Lite v2, which does a hell of a lot more than just drive gauges .
But fair play, i do like the look of your multi-in-one gauge.

That is nice Do BI plan to release those schematics or are the already available for BI customers?
The schematics are already available to BI customers.
