one side done, the world map is now a lot more accurate, with africa on the monocock and australia on the left sidepod..and the colours stronger though the lighting perhaps hides it a bit
i'll make it public...eventually, when its finished
its gona take a lot longer than i antisipated, as there are very few photo's of the other side of the car..

Google earth pics simply wont work for this, all the wrong colours and the detail will be completely wrong. I've been using high res pics of the actual car so far..
the reason some bits are stretched out, and blured is because it doesnt fit perfectly onto the BF1, and needs some editing. I'm trying to keep all the most clear bits on the real car clear on the skin...
in the end, it shouldnt matter much as you wont notice the small details at 200mph!
nice work man, your correct to use the images from the HONDA website as they are the images they used for their cars.
don't mind people that say use other images or use google earth, that's just stupid. you need to use the exact same image thats on the side of the HONDA to replicate it properly. no amount of photo editing in any program is going to turn a google earth image into exactly what the HONDA pics look like.
it looks really great, keep it up!
Can't wait to see this one in person, and niki hit the nail on the head -
using the actual images from the car as opposed to other earth images
was the correct approach - the car is a lot closer to the real car than I expected it to be.
