Globalization of F1 Racing
I'm doing a project on the globalization of F1 Racing (how it has spread throughout the world). Any tips that might help? It would be appreciated.

What do you mean "spread throughout the world"? Didn't F1 start out spread all over the world? By 1965 (and probally before then), they already were racing all over the world! If you want an example of globalization, McDonalds would be a better decision.

In 1950 (the first year of F1) it was confined almost exclusively to Europe, with only one championship round (the Indianapolis 500) taking place in North America.
In 1953 a South American round was added (in Argentina).
In 1958 an African round was added (Morocco), but no more races were held in Morocco.
In 1959 a race other than the Indy 500 was added in the United States.
In 1962 a South African round was added.
In 1963 a Mexican round was added.
In 1967 a Canadian round was added.
In 1973 another South American round was added (Brazil).
In 1976 two separate rounds were held in the United States.
In 1976 a Japanese round was added.
In 1985 an Australian round was added.
In 1986 a Hungarian round was added.
In 1999 a Malaysian round was added.
In 2000 there was a return to the United States (back to Indy), the last round held in the US was 1991.
In 2004 a Middle Eastern round (Bahrain) and a Chinese round were added.
In 2005 a Turkish round was added.

I might have missed some but I think that's most of the more important ones covered, just going through the races from the results archive on f1.com

If you take a look on f1.com you should be able to find out about future plans (Abu Dhabi springs to mind) for expansion. The most notable exclusions from places visited are Russia, India (though I believe there's been a venue already selected in India for a race) and North Africa (North Africa only having hosted 1 GP).
You might want to talk about future planned street circuits and night races being introduced so that the sport bridges the time zones. (no waking up at 3am to watch a race)

Except if you live in Australia/New Zealand, most races don't air before midnight. We get the stupid night format so that Europeans can see two races live.
Well your problem is that none of the manufacturers in F1 sell that many cars in Australia. They only care about Asia, Europe and the USA, so you guys will lose out. But come to think of it, you have V8 supercars...so stop complaining!

V8 "Supercars" is perhaps the worst racing series on the planet currently, so that's no consolation. If Australia is going to be given the rough end of the pineapple like this then there should be no F1 race here. Why should be go to the trouble and expense just to put on a European show? And we get to be the guinea pigs for the rediculous racing under lights scenario which will be a safety nightmare for drivers, teams, and organizers.

As for car sales, BMW is very popular here (very common car brand), plently of stiffs buy Mercedes, lots of chicks buy lots of Hondas, Ferrari is somewhat irrelevant because the market is always going to be (and has always been) exclusive, they are not into mass production so prices are high globally anyway, Renault is a growing brand in modern times.

Making the Australian and Malaysian rounds of the F1 into night races is a slap in the face for race fans over here. It shows that the F1 isn't interested in the racing at all, they just want to reap monetary windfalls from sponsors, advertisers and TV Networks. It is a real shame that the Australian event and fans will be sacrificed like this. I was going to go to the event next year but now there is no point in attending as it won't be a real Grand Prix at all.
