Wow, I don't think I've played BF2 since about 2005, bit rusty with the old celeryhopters, and, er, all the other weapons. Would be nice to see more people on (don't know who CaterhamSeven was?) because it's a bit dull being killed by the same two people all the time. Maybe organise a "night" or something?

Why don't you go infantry only on 16 player maps? Much more fun imo.

without sounding like a d*ck, it's not for the LFS community, BF2 was something that mentioned in teamspeak in passing - and they went on a server to have a fight, and they enjoyed it so they wanted to do it more often - we found as server which allowed ALL unlocks (and that required no CD key )and it was usually empty, so we went on there, with more of UKCT started having a go, and recently this server was giving us worse and worse pings (being in russia and all :tilt, so we set up our own server, and we use that a fair bit, however the 3v3 battles were getting a little boring so we thought we'd do some "Promotion"

yeah, we turned that off because we just wanted to mess about one day in planes

I had some good fun this evening, although it was difficult to kill people with "Oooh patch W9!!!" constantly in my ear on TS.. so eventually I gave up and succumbed to the LFS download!

It's Sunday tomorrow, and I'm now free and clear of STCC stuff to do.. it'd be good to get a healthy number in there, if we could just co-ordinate. About 10 people connected today, but mostly at different times.

I'll turn the server back down to 16 players and turn on auto balance for the next riot

oh and stop fragging me, us mods should stick together
