havent played it for a while but i seem to remember that ms combat flight sim had bloody great big green arrows pointing to the target you were locked on (or was it european air war or fighter ace ?)
taking anorak off and going back on topic
whilst agreeing its not realistic (which is my pet hate about chase view) it would be of help to some people and would help to replace the lack of peripheral vision currently available ( which is why i hate chase view as it gives an advantage over those that prefer a more realistic driving view )but it should be able to be deactivated. idealy i'd like to see servers able to deactivate it along with chase view
