Stock cars at road courses is suprisingly common actually. Some times a touring car sanctioning body will invite some of the smaller stock car groups out to race with them.

If you said that they were made for both, but are usually used for ovals, then it would make sense what you are saying. But how it was it looks like your saying they are made for the oval, which if you add "only" it means the same thing.

but as mentioned above we have air-drag but no air-push at the moment.
thats the basic thing for proper oval racing. the car power is secondary.

You know, according to teh developers, LFS is supposed to eventually encompass all forms of motorsport. Stock cars are going to happen eventually.

I hate oval driving, but I would really love to see an 800hp V8 stock car in the game. I would prefer to drive that over any of the current GTR cars. Also, because stock car bodies are pretty generic, it should be easy to please race fans who want to make skins of their favorite drivers.

It would finally make the oval interesting, so +1 to make use of the track. Should be interesting to drive elsewhere too. FE Club anyone?

yep. fe club would be good because you could restrict it down with the new restriction features in the new patches.

so when it loads up a spesific track like a small one. it could be restricted down

and for big open tracks go like the wind

btw i made one on lfs twk 800bhp. and it didnt actually wheel spin alot. not like youd imagine it to do like a BF1 etc.
