Division 2

1.=PM=Antt69 80pts
2.Thunderhead 57pts
3.=PM=Totx 54pts
4.ZWR M.Butz 43pts
5.yfb TFalke55 36pts


BUT as it was non-championship these will be wiped clean before next weekend.

These points were based on the points system suggested by Mikey_G

I think they work well anddefinately rewards consistancy

For instance, my disconnection in the second race means I would be 60 points down on the leader after one round. I think that the winners of both divisions will have to finish all races - which means it is good for attendance.

Nope - i changed it

you used

Sprint:
1st - 35 points
2nd - 32
3rd - 29
4th - 26
5th - 23

I used a system that makes a bigger dif at the top

ie
1st 35
2nd 30
3rd 26
4th 23
5th 21
6th 19 etc etc






In my opinion it gives better reward for top 5 as in 35,30,26,23,21 rather than 35,32,29,26,23

Yes, but you have to realize that the difference between points gets twice as big with the main race and 4 times as big with the enduro. That's why I made the difference in the sprint race only 3 points for the top 5.

well, don't get me wrong, I like big differences if I win, but our main priority is keeping the championship close.

i forgot that the 3 points means 6 points for feature race meaning a 9 point margin if you win twice, that is plenty big i think, particulalry if the 6 points can be scored on the Feature race

Well I dont know about you but I think i might be seeded in the wrong division. I scored more than Div1 winner. Only prob is what will happen with my teamie who is not so quick?

why would that be??

you scored points becuase of your division 2 win and 3rd place....

that does not mean you are seeded in the wrong division.

for instance, the HL qualifying was based on one track, people raced last night on one track, some know it some do not.

The entries are fixed, if you thnik that you are in the wrong division then maybe we should just give you the 2nd division crown right now then??

Yeah, i think having too big a margin gets too much at the Endurance round. One thing that does seem odd though is that based on last nights results i'd be 3rd overall, i came 2nd and about 14th (felt like 114th!) however having people im not really racing for points in there probably confuses matters, as it has done for Ant.


Ant, you were only racing with Div2 drivers really, you may have been say 8th on the track but if only 2 of those ahead of you were Div2 drivers then thats been scored as a 3rd place finish.
Of the 2 races according to Dru you were the highest and 3rd highest finisher of the Division 2 drivers, so thats what you were scored on.

When we race properly you'll be racing only with Div2 drivers, yesterday was just a mixed bag, so roughly half the people in there you'll never race with. You probably didnt finish ahead of pecker in either race so you couldnt have beat him like for like, the scoring between divisions isnt comparetive at all.

35 for a Sprint race win, x2 for Feature
So Pecker would have got 70pts from race 1, then 23/26/29 for race 2.
Im ignoring qual bonus points and fastest laps, but I dont see where 71pts comes from tbh (70 for race 1, 1pt for race 2?)
What am i missing/misunderstanding?

it adds up correct on the previous scoring, but not on the proposed points and the ones quoted in here.
the 40pts for 1st in feature scoring makes 71 for: Q2 + Win + FL & 3rd + FL (3 + 40 + 5 & 28 + 5)

LOL - nah my scoring was quickly done at work when the boss was not working - so the points where way out forgot to double the feature race points

LOL I get one of the others to do the scoring as i obviously can not LOL
