Communication in game
Hey men, how about some voice communication in :lfs:? Something like Team Speak, or another, but for all users on the track, or on the server... ?
or :uglyhamme?

Something like in Counter-Strike......
Quote from Mike85 :I also agree it should be integrated. But you can already use TeamSpeak now, from outside of LFS.

Yes, I can, but nobody can hear me. If I'm browsing the servers, enter some server and have no connection with anybody on TS.. So there is the problem.
Now, I'd support this, but I'd like it disabled by default. We all know there's a lot of morons out there who abuse the whole mic thing (look at Halo 2, for instance).

This would also cause added strain on the master server, wouldn't it? Since all games are routed through the master server, surely all information and data transfer is as well, including voice communication?

No, servers just report to the master server. All communication with the client is independent of this. All games bottlenecked through one server would be mighty slow.

Including the wankers from the US on Xbox live that think they are 50 cent and are racist to all European groups - a reason not to touch online console gaming with a barge pole.
I have no idea how difficult it is, but would be there some bitrate limiter? Next suggestion: In game could be ban, or kick (in form of voting) in voice communication for some noobs or morons (as you wrote).
