Just buy any old AGP Skt. A board - i dont know much about them, but i do remember my A7N8X was a "beast"

Well it's socket A and AGP, i wouldn't put it past HP to put some special connector on the end of the PSU to stop you though.

but the motherboard I have looks like a square compared to the one you said, which is more rectangle

is the mobo you have ATX? If so it will fit.
