Much as I hate to admit it too, he is right on the justifiable homicide bit...they have different laws that side of the pond mate...THEY are ALLOWED to protect their property and families, unlike us poor sods over here that have to watch a little toe-rag nick all our stuff, rape our dogs, and then have the added insult of seeing them 'punished' by a 3 week holiday in an adventure camp!

hmmm... A gun is NOT an equalizer. If you are hesitant about cracking a bat across somebody's head, for whatever reason, then you might be hesitant about pulling the trigger. and where I live, the burglar has a gun too.
Oh and punching it at a dead stop or near stop to get to your posted speed does wonders to a car. Forget about deserted roads or driveways or whatever. The tranny and the lifters and the pushrods and the crankshaft
will be the things that will pay for that.

one more thing, you know that bit you said about only driving like that when there's no one around? You know one of the most often heard excuses at the scene of an accident is "I didn't see any one". You might wanna think about that the next time you're out there trashing your parents' cars when you don't see anyone.
