Today at the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series (truck stock car). I saw a familiar name in the line up. A Pierre Bourque.

I did some research on him (i was interested to find out that a french canadian showed up in NASCAR), but I only found this bit of information.

"Pierre Bourque is a Canadian Internet entrepreneur, who operates the online news aggragator site Bourque Newswatch.
Bourque is also a part-time radio host at Ottawa news-talk station CFRA, and has appeared on several other Canadian radio stations. As well, Bourque has been a race car driver in the NASCAR Busch East Series."



Is this the same Pierre Bourque that showed up in NASCAR truck series or is it just a coincidence? Can someone please clarify for me.

I had a chat with my old racing community buddies before i posted, and I was told that he quit racing. Plus the NASCAR east series and the NASCAR truck series are two different series. No one else I talked to had any information on the guy except that he appeared before in the NASCAR east series and he quit racing.

What I want to know is what is he doing in the NASCAR trucks series, has he signed a deal with a race team and is he planning to stay.

If i got no other response then i'll assume that no one else knows too

I'd guess it's the same guy since he's run in NASCAR before. I'm also willing to bet that he has not signed a deal with a team; he's probably got his own funded from his own pocket.
