Hey people,
It's been a very long time since i last played this game, but I figured I wanted to try it out again.
Problem is, that I installed Windows Vista in the meantime, and while the game runs fine, I am missing the engine sound ingame. The menu-music works fine, but that's not enough..!
Do anyone know about this issue, and do you have a solution to the problem?
The readme-file says "Live for Speed S2 0.5U ALPHA", which I presume means that it's version 0,5U.
I tried downloading the W to X patch, but it only renders my game unplayable - is there a preliminary patch I should install first?
Anyway, here's my system specs - everything should be sufficient:
MB = Asus P5Bdeluxe
CPU = Intel Core2Duo E6600
RAM = 2 x 1GB Corsair PC6400CL2PRO
HDD = 36gb Western Digital Raptor 10k
GFX = XFX GeForce 8800GTX
OS = Windows Vista Business Edition
All drivers are installed correctly, and the machine is running without problems otherwise...
I hope someone can help with this - I tried searching the forum for an answer, but there are no good answers to this issue..
thank you
