Ok well I need to find the Velocity Modificator in Vegas Studio 8 and I'm not to sure where it's at and need to find it so I can get my video to look right.

I am assuming you mean the playback speed? If so, right click on the clip, select Properties and in there somewhere is the playback speed multiplier. Change it to go slower, faster or in reverse. Very simple.

it doesnt let you render in 2x speed, does it?

So this is what happened when I right clicked the video and go to properties. I also have this problem when I preview the Render in Player, I'm not sure if the setting on the 2nd pic are good because after it's done rendering I'll view it and it's all huge, it dosent fit the screen So I need some help- Thanks

Render in realtime or when final rendering is done? I'm not 100% sure actually because I haven't gotten to the final rendering stage of my first attempt of a movie using Vegas.

I do know that it attempts to render the faster playback speed in realtime, but often my pc cant keep up and its choppy in the preview.
