Quote from Nathan_French_14 :Thats strange, what happens when you try to put max gfx on your LCD? Does it stutter and stuff or will it just not allow you to change them? If anything, i would have thought how nice you can make your gfx looks would be down to your pc rather the projector versus LCD

i really dont know, im using my laptop (Dell D820, 2.3 centrino, 1.5gb ram, radeon x600 128mb) to play all my games, and usauly when i use the laptop screen, the games start to stutter, (especially IL2, was fist a online fighter pilot )but when i connect the projector or another monitor for that reason no stutter problems, but reading all the posts it might be the TFT.

but honestly playin on a screen that is 2m or more wide is awsome. if my projector dies one day i'll just buy new one, as their prices are a bit more that the flatscreens, or so where i stay
Well, you really can't compare hi-end CRT monitors with mainstream LCD monitors. Those are unbeatable.

But, mainstream CRT monitors does lag behind hi-quality LCD monitors, specially when you get an S-IPS or S-PVA panels.

Just bought an 20.1" widescreen from dell (2007wfp). Still waiting to arrive to see.

and another one

That makes me kinda angry.

I mean, I love the size of this 22" widescreen and it's nice and sharp and all, but I'm well aware the colours are crap and I'd be better off with a CRT. I also knew there was something weird with the way the monitor reacted to input but I hadn't realised they were buffering the signal.
