i was just in a race at blackwood with the FOX. The race started while i was still trying to put my wheel on the desk so i was slow away and brushed the wall. However when i accelerated i had very short gears. I was doing 160kph in 6th when 4th should go to 150, 5th to 180 and 6th to 220ish. Then as i rounded the first corner the car felt like all the suspension was broken. I pitted and checked the setup which i found nothing wrong with. So i went back into the race and everything was fine again.

As far as i know i dont have a setup which is that bad and in the setup page the right setup was selected. Very strange and the first time i've had this happen.

after watching the replay again it shows that my revs dont drop when i change gear?

Your steering is probaly your wheel. I find with my momo wheel I sometimes need to turn full left and right before I use it.

The problem isnt the steering its the gears. When i changed gears the revs didnt drop. Then when i rounded the corner you can see the car bouncing alot like the suspension has been broken.

do you have a manual clutch or an anologe clutch? Because you may have just needed to press this is to calibrate it.

Its happened to me a few times when I have been using manual clutch and the revs are much higher until you use the clutch.

But saying that you must have been changing gears and thus using the clutch. I'll try and look at the replay later on.

It's indeed a very strange thing, cause when you pause the replay as soon as you are on the starting grid, your left rear wheel is already bent, like you had an impact

I dont have an analogue clutch and i use throttle cut on upshift. If you look at the pedals on the replay you can see the clutch is only activated when the car changes gear so i doubt its a clutch problem?

Also if you watch the replay in forces mode you can see my suspension is totally red so something did go wrong somehow. And the camber is totally out for the setup that i was using...

rarely, if your car gets damaged just before a restart, the damage doesn't reset when the race begins, could that be it?

BL going forward is 90% right turns, it only makes since that you would have so much negative camber on the left rear wheel.. that way it keeps it flat in all the right hand turns

like i said the camber in that screenshot is totally out.
