Why, what veiw are you using on the tin tops?

I'll let someone else guess it but if someone knew me they would know it.
the view you use for shitty nfs games

Chase view? surely not
Im guessing showing only front wheels.
Quote from pearcy_2k7 :Im guessing showing only front wheels.

That would have been my first guess too

Quote from rc10racer :the view you use for shitty nfs games

But that statement leads me to think differently
Quote from rc10racer :Yup you guessed right.

:uglyhamme But I can't talk - before LFS I used to use that view all the time too
1680*1050 around 45°

Sometimes less depending on the car.
Quote from rc10racer :I'll let someone else guess it but if someone knew me they would know it.

The best view.
Haha true .D
I use chase veiw, that could explain my high fov use.. 100-110..

But it's the only way to get that right speed feeling, tho I somewhat get this acid feeling if I drive BF1 car on SO1 tracks..
22" 1680x1050, 100 FOV

Let's see the noob view driver beat you on Friday in the endurance race.

well, i also drive RB4 but i am sure you will beat me
Lol, funny pic =D after this digging, i think ill try to use a 105 Fov but with a 4:3 monitor and widescreen mode...
On my iiyama 24" 16:10, at 1920x1200, the most lifelike by far is...

57 degrees.

If you do this, and then turn off the steering wheel (bear with me), and then angle the view down a little so you can see the dash, and then put your wheel as close as possible to the monitor, it's pretty damned close to looking out through a real car window. Extremely cool and lifelike.
I found out that at 70-85 range i can drive better... mostly near 70 i can tell what the car is doing. near 85 i can feel the speed. But i wish i had widescreen...
Around 65-70 degrees on a 22" Samsung 2232GW.

I can't stand the distorted image when using higher FOV. Who wants to drive out of a fishbowl?
90 degrees because by the time I knew how to change it I had grown accustomed to it.

EDIT: I use a 17", 16:9 screen that came with the laptop.
Quote from Rascar13 :Widescreen: 22" - 1152 x 864 pixels

FYI, 1152x864 is not a widescreen ratio. I use 1152x864 on my 17 inch 4:3 CRT display.

And my FOV fluctuates between 50 and 60.
I use 90 degree, 1280x1024 on my 15,4 inch laptop :P
110° on a 37" TV screen...
22" lcd screen, 1680x1050 16:10, FOV 89
