To make the racing more fair, is there a way for the winner of each race to get a bit of ballast/weight restriction, a bit less for 2nd (e.t.c). Then the racing would be closer and u might not have just a few people streaking away into the distance?

Or would it need to be implemented?

Since handicaps are meant as a temporary fix to a certain car class imbalance issues, I voted 'nay'.

But possibly there will be an official LFS league management system (with self-updating point calculator, online RSS race feed etc.) with automated handicap management if the league organizer chooses to implement such penalties.

there is a ballist/ air restricition in game already but it is purely volintary to use at the moment. I have used it on some occassions when I cant find anyone that is doing my pace and it does give some good entertaining racing

A small amount of air restriction gives the best results i find.

I think the hanicap system should be used to blance the cars in a class or to restrict an entire class to make a new onr, as Becky has done on the CTRA servers. I don't believe in using balast to slow fast people, if they can out drive you then learn to drive faster

If you stick around at a track for an hour or two you should be able to work your way up the grid fairly easily even if your not the fastest.

Havent you ever had a hoedown in LFS yet were you have like 6 people on a server and you have a serries of races. Each time someone wins they have to take on a passenger (female of course). The first person to reach having a full load of passengers wins the comp
