I am all for realism and getting people up to speed with adjusting and compensating for wind. I think it's a great idea, but at this point in time, the execution of that idea needs some tweaking.
When the wind changes direction every race that you are at that track, for however many races there are before a change to a new track, that is a bit much. You spend more time trying to adjust to changing wind conditions, trying to figure out which way the wind is blowing in corners that don't have indicators like blowing flags, and adjusting your brake points and turn ins, and "Oh my, there are other cars on the track too?"! When you are trying to do that in traffic, with other people trying to compensate as well, you are ASKING for yellow flags, and the associated anger that sometimes comes from that.
Would it not be far better to keep the wind direction and speed relatively static for the 10-15 races in series before transporting to a new track? How about we give people a little time to adjust to one wind speed and direction? I feel they would be able to adjust better and quicker, with less yellow flags flying for everybody. Change the wind direction at that track the next time it comes up in rotation.
