Hello , i just installed the latest ati catalyst drivers 7.9 and when i start LFS(x) it says [ Could not initialise graphics ] and exits to desktop , anyone can confirm this ? thanks

That means your driver is not installed. Try to install it again. If it doesn't help, try an older driver

i installed this version to play et quake wars and it plays ok but somehow the ati guys messed up the other games....

Happened to me too with 7.9, as well as a few other players. I ended up just going back to 7.8 as it works fine still with that.

Uh ohs, I recently installed these, haven't restarted to kick them into effect, so they are on the black list until I restart.

Sorry to sound like a muppet but they work fine for me

i have a ati 9800pro returned to 7.8 all is fine , but i can't play quake wars (it's a little on the slow side anyway but i can play at least with 800x600 low detail lol) bye

p.s. BMW m3 challenge has the same problem for me too... can't start with 7.9
