How do u get the shadow for 3d max 9.

PLZ HELP ME

if you made a light select it then go to modify and under General Parameters under shadows check ON

You can make a light by going to Create its at the top with File,Edit,Tools etc... then go down to lights then standard lights and the select the light you want

Some more info would be good. You don't need lights to make a shadow.

well every one tell me to do this thing but i dont have the stuff they say. i got 3d max 9

Heres a tip, helped me out loads when i started 3d modeling. You open up a web browser, goto www.google.com and type in "3ds max tutorials free".
