What the heck is wrong with my gearstick gator???

I've changed the gator textures few times but it gets somehow the wheel texture on it. Can anyone help to get this anoying thing off?
-I have reinstalled lfs, didn't help.

i dont know. Have you checked whether that DDS file in your folder is'nt rotated?

Looks like you have the steering wheel texture on there

The gator in some of the cars is taken from the lower 2/3rds of the steering wheel texture (cromowheel_grip)

Any steering wheel with a detailed leather look grip (like the one you are using) will generally show up as a noticeable wheel wrapped around the gator. Generally alcantara/felt grips madeup from a single texture will be less noticeable.

This is why I usually create alcantara grips for the wheels I release, unless someone specifically wants the detailed leather type.

Yea.. This has been around for a while, and I don't see a reason as to why it hasn't been fixed if it's such a simple problem to look at
