I guess the marketing forces have given up with bringing Halloween as a new consuming holiday over here. Haven't seen any of that silly Halloween stuff in the stores or TV, which is good because it doesn't really belong here.


Anyway...do we have any nasty mods around? This would be the most appropriate for Ben for teasing us with that LX8 specced LX6 yesterday!

Halo 3 got a new mode added just for last night. Zombies (Elites with Energy Swords) v Humans (Spartans with shotguns and Lasers).
Team numbers start even, but each Human killed respawned as a Zombie. Was quite funny

Hehehe, although I didn't have horns (or a costume at all really, it was a spare of the moment thing) last night. And FTR, that wasn't a modded LX6, that started life as an XRG.

I don`t like halloween.
Yesterday I bought a hell-of-a-lot candy. But many kids came and soon I was emty, then when the kids came, and I said "Sorry, I`m emty" I was rewared eggs all over the wall aswell as they destroyed the flowers outside the door aswell as almost breaking the window.
Is this how it should be, that when I use like almost 100Bucks on candy, and I gets rewarded with this?

Next year just buy the same amount of money in eggs and when you see them coming up to your door, let them have it

We don't get them round our way, thankfully. I never get anything because the phrase "trick or treat" means "gimme sweets" now. I want a trick, damn it. Not eggs, because anyone can throw them. An actual practical joke or sleight of hand.
But nobody bothers. Sad. Not even a crappy joke.

@Damjin: I said the exact same thing last night. Trick or treaters demand sweets/candy. IMO it's not on, The key word there is 'or'. Trick or treaters should get one OR the other, Not just free sweets handed out at will

I don't like Halloween. It's kinda "Let's be like Americans" thing in Estonia. We have 2 days (which were here long before Halloween came here) - Mardipäev and Kadripäev (Mart's and Kadri's day) or Saint Martin's and Saint Catherine's day.
