If you read mine i did the same thing in the Australian air cadets lol
The biggest adrenaline rush I ever had was when I figured out I didn't have any big adrenaline rush in a while

You got into a fast jet through the Australian Air Cadets?

Best I ever got was this for aerobatics and so on and I flew this solo
When I got beat up by a bunch of pussies and lived to tell about it. The moment you know you're so gonna get it, that was my max.
rolling my kart just before i hit the barrier you just know its going to be bad.....
my biggest is when your wiating for the drag lights to go green then once they go and just flooring ,hearing the engine , the wind , and knowing your winning!

I missed the Grob Tutor by about a year. I did all my AEF aerobatic flying in Bulldogs and although I never got to properly solo, I did my BGT and IGT in Vigilants. The IGT involved a 'ghosted solo' with the instructor present, but not doing or saying anything.

At the other end, I also managed to miss the Chipmunk by about a year too..

Being bitten by a shark while surfing :scared:
Quote from Electrik Kar :Being bitten by a shark while surfing :scared:

Omg
Have you been bitten by one for real?
Really- he only bit my foot while I was sitting on my board. I knew something 'fishy' was going on because I could see and feel myself been pulled back and down into the water. I turned around and saw a black sharky shadow and didn't really need any more convincing after that. Took me about 10 seconds to paddle back to shore- thankyou adrenaline!
About 200m off shore spear fishing, when a large sea lion came from nowhere flashing past the front of my face blocking out everything (nearly shat my pants )

Several near misses and some that hit in way of car accidents.

1. Travelling down a gravel road when some speeding Sweedish tourists coming the other way didn't see us and overracted when they did. Ended up going side ways into a ditch rolling there rental car several times before coming to a rest just in front of us

2. Pulled up at a set of lights that was just over the crest of a hill. Looked in my review mirror to see a speeding car slam on his brakes directly behind me! He ended up going sideways and flipping his car to end up ahead of us on the median strip (close miss)

3. Coming around a bend doing about 150km/h in the middle of nowhere at 3am in the morning to find a herd of cattle directly in front of us sleeping in the middle of the road had no time to slow down so picked a path through them and shut my eyes. made it somehow.

4. Going for one of my many drives along country roads when younger late at night, going much too fast with a layer of fog settling in thinking it looked cool as it was about roof hieght of the car. Came around a bend to be met by 3 horses that were loose on the road. Slammed on the brakes got a bit sideways but managed to pull up with just a few meters to spare.

List goes on but I will stop boring you could talk all day about accidents and near misses in cars lol

Haha tourists and country roads are not a good mix lol
Quote from Crashgate3 :Doing aerobatics when I was in Air Cadets. Best thing I have ever done, ever.

Ditto. I'm going again next Friday - It's always brilliant.
Hey daddyo are you that guy who gave you his dad's S1 license? Btw you guys really had lots more experience than me especially about skydiving... I might wanna try it when I'm older.

For me it happened 2 days ago when when I stood off a group of pig hunting dogs that attacked one of my dogs.

I was out walking on a large river bed near home with wife and dogs. We have wide gravel river beds here on the Canterbury Planes in NZ. Its a popular spot and we noticed a woman further down the river with four dogs, a few 100m away. A few of the dogs broke away as they saw us and headed over towards us. She tried to call them back but they paid her no notice.

They got near and I had not spotted the danger at that point. Before I could react they set on one of my dogs as one pack. This was not your normal dog play/fight to say who it boss. That sort of fight does no damage and is over very quickly. This was something that I can only describe as savage. When you see it you realise how this sort of dog can take down a wild boar.

They say you should never get involved in a dog fight and pig dogs are the sort of dog that will loose an eye and still not give in. Most of what happened is a complete blur, it happened too fast. I remember pulling off one dog and chucking it away, kicking another and then realised I had about 2-3Kg of rock in my hand lifted ready to smash down on something.

I think they sensed I had become a very real threat. I was no longer in control of my actions. Instict was in control and the higher brain almost shut off. They backed off a bit looking for an "in" again but I think something in my manner made them leave.

I know looking back I would have killed the first one that had come back in towards us at that point. Something that I hate to admit, as I never resort to physical violence. Part of me hates that I had to see that part of me but it is in all of us and at least I know I step up when I need to.

Two days later and I am still not really back to "normal". I have done bungy jumps, heli-boarding and many other mad things but have never felt the adrenaline dump as powerful as what risk to life gives you.
Avoiding car crashes just barely.

Unexpected superman-dive with longboard while going down pretty harsh pavement. The juices first made me shiver uncontrollably for short period of time and then all the pain was gone. I was able to take the trip back to home, clean the wounds and sit back for awhile without (almost) any pain. Naturally after couple minutes the pains came. Especially the strawberries on knees were nice.

running away usually. One particular time running from the police, there was a wall about 3 feet on this side, i just jumped it without even touching and at the other side was a hugeeee drop, had about 1 second to figure out how to land properly so i didnt break both of my legs. everything kinda slowed down.
What had you done?
binning a vauxhall astra into woodland at the national speed limit.

I was doing it wrong.
1. When I post
2. Pony riding
3. Adding a harddisk into my pc without antistatic suit
4. Answering phonecalls from unknown numbers

Seriously:
1. going very fast on a snowbord. Just awesome, especially if you are crap at it
2. Going very fast with a motocross bike on narrow forest paths. Especially if you uncertain where it turns next
3. Doing stupid things when drunk

Sliding one of these down a steep icy hill on four locked belts while the guy in front of me parks his neatly in a snowbank. Had to point the damned thing off the side of the road and down an even steeper hill to avoid hitting him. Ended up in a field without damage, but it sure got the old ticker going.

All this with Norway's only general and the Crown Prince of Norway hovering in a helicopter above, watching the show. I'm sure they were quite impressed.
