Hi everybody!

My nick in LFS is "F. Giné". I like this but I prefeer my common nick "Kaminari" wich I use everywhere else, even at race.

I wasn't able to choose "Kaminari" because someone else pick it. But what is worst is that "Kaminari" is someone from United States, who since 2005-10-28 traveled 10 km, made 1 complete lap, joined 7 servers and burnt 2 liters of fuel...

When I saw it I felt frustated not being able to be named as my since-ever nick... I hope you understand me.

Also, because of the blank space and the quote of "F. Giné" I'm finding troubles on teams not being able to join them as "F. Giné", and not being able to link the team nick "Kaminari" to the "F. Giné" LFS statistics.

So... is there any way to ask admins to shut down that account and set "Kaminari" as my LFS official name?

unfortunutly you can't change your usernames.

You can...you just have to re-register, and buy another S2 licence in that name and forfeit your stats The choice is yours!

No. That person has paid for his/her license just like you, so it wouldn't be fair to just take their name away, no matter how seldom they use it online. You can still use your preferred nick as the driver name inside LFS though. It's just the license account and forum account names that are unchangeable.

If you want it that badly...e-mail Kaminarienerariski and ask if you can buy his account off him as he doesnt use it anymore and you really wanna use Kaminarienerariski as your username.

don't worry about your username ingame. I don't use "Zachary Zoomy" ingame (I've been told its gay!)

I just comment this because it's not much a personal think but a matter of being able to run races and tournaments, because actually I can't.

When I upload a hotlap or when I do an online time, If I check the team website/forum for my qualification, It's in blank, and because of this problem, when the time is up I get out of race.

If I'm not wrong, before I got my license, firstly I got registered as "F. Giné". Then, two weeks after, I paid for a S2 license, so I has been registered ingame for two weeks as "Demo license". It's possible that person "kaminari" doesn't have a S1/S2 license but being a Demo user? In that case he hasn't paid anything.

Is there anyway to see if "kaminari" is a Demo user or a S1/S2 license owner?

He has a PB on AS Club with UF1 so he has to be S2 licenced.

And IIRC, the stats of demo drivers don't get recorded anyway. If he was a demo racer, all stats would be "0".

There's a trick to get around that problem.. instead of trying to link F. Giné, link F.+Giné or F.%20Giné
